And welcome to my blog! Here you can learn how two little English boys became bilingual ‘by default’ – they have a foreign mother (lucky sods!). They can’t be only English, really, they surely must be half & half: half English and half foreign or rather CONTINENTAL to be more specific. I deliberately don’t want to reveal yet what their second language is as I don’t want you to make any assumptions about how easy or difficult it is to learn. Because when you are a baby, it seriously doesn’t matter. At least based on my experience. And trust me, I do have some idea. I’ve learnt to speak several languages and I had my first bilingual baby in 2009. So, if you are intrigued, how bilingual parenting works for us, and if you fancy a little sneak peek into our bilingual family life, read on.
Bilingual or not, see you on the other side. 🙂
